At the behest of her Hollywood clientele, Rani Doobay had her first trunk show in June of 1998 in upstate NY. All of the more than 50 outfits shown were sold in under an hour. Only two months later, at the invitation of clients, she showed at the Le Merigot Hotel in Santa Monica, CA and another showing in Houston, Texas later that year. In September 2003 Rani participated in a fashion show for Heartbeats of the World Charity Benefit at the NY Hilton and in 2006 she showed her collection at the Mustard Seed Communities Benefit, also at the NY Hilton.
